Laura Rurangwa: “Traditional dances are not going to disappear, because there are so many traditional dance troupes in the country.
“There’s a lot of demand for them to perform at weddings and other public ceremonies so I think they’re well preserved. “But if you talk to the younger generation, everyone wants to learn salsa or hip-hop. They say, ‘Ah, traditional dance is old-fashioned. No-one wants it!’”
